So the weekend is over. I must say it was an amazing and productive one.
I'm happy when I'm actually doing new and exciting things. This one made me especially happy because I spent it with a lot of friends, made some new ones, and saw a lot I haven't in a while.
Last night me and my friend Jon decided to have a crafty night and be productive with ourselves.
He makes a lot of really great rustic looking things usually using things he's found from outdoors. They're always beautiful and they give rooms a lot of warmth. I'm trying to get him to get an etsy so everyone can buy it. We'll get there.
He's burning a little hot air balloon
for our friend Jamie.
He made me this little triangle,
I love it.
I was just making some jewelry, I made a bracelet, a few earrings, and a simple necklace. Lately I've kind of just liked the idea of a single charm on a short chain. Super minimal.
We also did a little collab piece. To me it's pretty clear who did what-but maybe not if you don't know either one of us.
Too bad!
We watched American Horror Story from the middle to end while making everything. If you haven't seen this, you should. It's the most disturbing show I've ever seen on TV.
They don't hold back, it's disgusting in all the right ways.
I mean how would you feel if you saw this little prick of a creature hiding in the dark corner of your room?
This creep is made from the parts of a dismembered baby and the beating heart from an aborted one. When I say disturbing-I mean DISTURBING.
It was a Sunday well spent that's for sure. Super relaxing, lots of laughs, crafting, couldn't ask for more.
xx D.
